Seen one, seen 'em all.

First of all, I love the madness series, but I think it's overstayed its welcome at this point. At this point, you're not trying anything new, there is no gap in difficulty from one goon to another (even if the goons have different costumes and are SUPPOSED to be better by implication). It's not even mindless fun, as you've done better work than this. Innovate a little, that's all I'm asking, because it's starting to get stale.

Not the best I've seen.

Animation: Excellent. Choreography: Great.

But not only did Boomerang have a SEVERE advantage over Mr. Kickman (who's kicks just seemed average to me) but their fighting styles just didn't define them. I felt as though Mr. Kickman was trying to do too many kicks, simply because his kicks were the only thing in his arsenal. It would be one thing if his kicks sent boomerang through the wall, or at least dazed him on impact, but instead they just fall flat. You need more impact on both sides. I think Boomerang would be in for a rough fight if he was fighting Steel Stick, or something similar, and if Kickman's kicks actually had noticeable impact, but instead what we're left with is two stick figures, one with a boomerang, fighting in a sewer.

cool

man, nhazul seems like a rly cheap character.

other than the balance issues, looks pretty cool.

idk

i thought the animation wasn't that good, but then again, i can't do much better myself. you may have done better work, but i don't think thats what you were going for....i dunno whether you were showing off your name, or whether you just decided to go rly fucking simple, but i think the point of the shapes thing is to say that not every flash has to be so crazy complex and insane! sure its cool when you can animate like crazy, but animation can be whatever you want it to be!

i think you used your name to spread this message, partly in satire of animation in general, and partly because you figured your name would get you to the front page even if you posted shapes...which is exactly what happened. to be honest, i enjoyed this flash a lot, maybe not at first, but it was kind of a wake up call that said: "Hey! not every flash has to be well done to be art! flash can be whatever you want it to be!"

more inspirational than probably intended...

either that or you're just dicking around because you know you can.

You Know What i liked about it?

I enjoyed this series as a whole because it was more than just a flash animation, but a story that carries a powerful message that should be taught to everyone in hopes of a better world.

What i enjoyed about this episode especially was that i had little to no idea how it was going to end...step 4 was set up so perfectly that it could've gone either way in the story, and not knowing what to expect helped this episode in its greatness.

What i especially loved about this episode was its ending, not only because it was happy, but that it actually emotinally effected me...i felt a shiver run thru my spine as they hugged, connecting me to the characters even more than i had thought was possible.

overall, great job.

pretty good

but it didnt have the action this series is known for. I did enjoy the plot tho...very good progress has been made and a lot happened in this episode...there just needs to be a balance between plot and action because i found myself being somewhat bored reading text for 5-10 mins at a time...all im saying is that it needs to find a balance between story and action...and you will have me hooked.

but overall it was good. very well done w/ the 8-bit graphics! probably my favorite fight scene of the series...mostly due to its unique style.

its pretty good...

just not my cup of tea i guess...srry...

i would've like to have seen better art then the sketch like styel..but it works well for the animation.

MindChamber responds:

I agree! thanks for your review!

meh.

somewhat boring...somewhat confusing...strange plot to action ratio.

srry just not my cup of tea.

By far the greatest.

This was by far, the greatest Madness spin off i've ever seen. ever. The characters while there was no dialogue, had believable qualities and were not complete super soldiers like everyone else's flash. the motivation was great, the ending was a great cliff hanger, and the animation itself was practically flawless. you rly have outdone urself. Also, the music syncing was excellent. overall a superb flash.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Thanks allot.
Where you said it was your favorite.. Have you seen many other madness movies? There are better ones out there.

front page? rly?

maybe i just dont understand Mr. Fulp but is this rly front page material?

and the reason that flashes are complicated these days is because it takes more skill or time to create an artistic flash, when most people can pull off stuff like this no problem.

i didnt find it funny at all either. all the humor was bland to say the least and it was extremely boring.

im srry but it rly just doesnt deserve the front page in my opinion.

if the animation was just a little bit better and if the voices weren't so monotone (although im sure that was part of the plan), then it would've been a pretty good idea.

All im saying is that things can look good on paper and become completely different in action.

Look for my music on the sight. Im always writin so ask me if you want a song.
